Congrats to Thomas and Melissa!
Royal Blue has taken Kansas City Weddings by Storm this year!! I don't know if it is Kansas City Royals Fever or this jewel tone is just too bold to deny, but This bride and Groom made a statement with their wedding and reception. They Paired the Royal Blue with Silver and white accents and used submersible LEDs in their centerpieces for a wonderful night time ambiance. The Contrast of the Silver chair sashes made the colors really pop against the black linens. Because Cobalt Blue is such a strong color, we utilized it in satin runners and draped napkins, rather than in the linens, which may have been too overpowering for the room. We ALSO did a Waterfall Blue sequin linen on the head table with our famous basket weave chair sashes for the head table, to draw focus to the guests of honor, AND to balance the room. They also had a gorgeous Pipe and Drape backdrop for their ceremony that added a softness to the room, and a Crystal Candelabra for their cake table that added some wow factor to their cake cutting photos. :) Not to mention, these two definitely get the award for most entertaining cake topper! It seriously looks exactly like them AND it really just expresses the humor that they possess! Loved it!!

What a stunning wedding! That royal blue paired with silver and white accents must have looked absolutely breathtaking, especially with the submersible LEDs adding that magical evening glow. I love how you balanced the bold color with satin runners and draped napkins instead of overwhelming the linens—such a smart design choice. The waterfall sequin head table sounds like the perfect focal point, and that crystal candelabra for the cake table? Pure elegance! Also, that cake topper sounds like so much fun—what a great way to show off their personalities. For couples planning their own big day, capturing those special moments in creative ways is key. I read your post about royal blue taking over Kansas City weddings this summer and it was fun to see how color can change the whole look of a celebration. Last semester when I was overloaded with school work I even had to pay someone to complete my computer course so I could take a break and enjoy planning my cousin’s wedding details like this. It reminded me that good balance helps you do both work and fun.
I read the Royal Blue is taking over Kansas City Weddings this Summer post and loved how the couple used bold royal blue with silver and white accents to make their big day pop and feel so unique and fun. Last semester when my schedule was packed with assignments, I had to squeeze in online Statistics class help between planning events and study sessions so I could stay on track with both. That time taught me how important it is to find balance between school demands and the creative things that make life exciting.
